As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSS MBB), Eddie Railey maintains a distinguished track record in enhancing operational efficiencies for both defense and corporate customers. His leadership and strategic vision have been instrumental in establishing Avoe Enterprise Solutions as a trusted partner in the industry.


As an accomplished, results-driven program leader with outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for much of his professional career, Eddie has acquired extensive experience leading development and implementation of process improvements. He is also adept at leveraging Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to capture measurable benefits in production efficiency, product quality, workplace safety, and cost savings.

  • Business Consultant (AVOE Enterprise Solutions, LLC, May 2015 - Present): Eddie has been self-employed as a business consultant, offering strategic guidance and solutions across various industries.
  • Associate Analyst - Lean Six Sigma Master Blackbelt (CALIBRE Systems, Nov 2012 - Oct 2015): At CALIBRE Systems, Eddie provided senior leadership and Lean Six Sigma expertise to optimize operations for the Defense Logistics Agency and the US Army, leading to over $600 million in cost avoidance.
  • Director of Logistics (SAIC, Oct 2011 - Nov 2012): Eddie led logistics operations for the Joint Logistics Integration MRAP program in Kuwait, managing significant inventory and reducing financial liabilities by $42 million.
  • Maintenance Production Analyst (SAIC, Feb 2011 - Sep 2011): He oversaw process improvements and quality management for the MRAP Vehicle program, contributing to the facility's ISO 9001:2008 certification.

  • Continuous Improvement Manager (Henry Company, Aug 2006 - Feb 2011): Eddie spearheaded Lean and Six Sigma initiatives across multiple locations, achieving substantial cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
  • Lean Six-Sigma Blackbelt Manager (OMNOVA Solutions Inc., 2004 - 2006): He utilized Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance supply chain functions, resulting in significant cost savings and improved production capacity.
  • Value Stream Coordinator (OMNOVA Solutions Inc., 2002 - 2004): Eddie improved supply chain efficiency, reducing production days and inventory while eliminating late shipments.
  • Associate Safety & Health Engineer (OMNOVA Solutions Inc., 2000 - 2002): He met OSHA requirements and improved safety performance through effective training.
  • Movement Control/Engineer (US Army/SC National Guard, Aug 1987 - Aug 2008): Eddie developed logistics systems for various military operations and was recognized as Soldier of the Year for his contributions.
